The oily texture of the balm allows for gentle yet highly effective makeup removal. We recommend following these steps:
1) Warm a small amount of balm in the palm of your hand until it transforms into an oil.
2) Then apply the now-oily balm to your face and gently massage with your fingertips in circular motions.
3) Finish by wiping your face with a damp reusable cotton pad to remove excess balm and makeup residue.
Please note: this is a makeup removing balm, not a cleanser. Indeed, one of the most common skincare mistakes is thinking that skin is clean after removing makeup. However, makeup removal only dissolves the first layer of impurities present on the surface (pigments, sunscreen, etc.) thanks to its fatty agents. It is necessary to follow up immediately with a cleansing step, using a product that emulsifies upon contact with water and thus removes the last stubborn impurities.
These are therefore two distinct and complementary steps.

Our balm contains olive oil, which is a low comedogenic oil (a little more than avocado oil, for example, but much less than coconut oil).

Our balm is rich because its base is made of olive oil, beeswax and sweet almond oil. However, it quickly penetrates the skin and leaves no sticky or shiny residue. We'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that a pea-sized amount is enough to nourish your entire face!

For your information, a moisturizing cream contains water and thus provides water to your cells. Once your cells are filled with water, you should then apply a nourishing balm to create a protective barrier over your cells, so that the water they contain does not escape.

As this balm is composed solely of fatty substances, it nourishes the skin and prevents dehydration. It complements hydration and helps retain water in the tissues when applied as the last step in your beauty routine.

For several months, we have been working tirelessly to rework the formula of our deodorants. Today, we are happy to present a formula that ticks all the boxes, without any compromise. This deodorant does not crumble, leaves no marks and offers 48-hour effectiveness, all with a 100% natural composition and a 100% recyclable cardboard package.

Our formula is made with 100% naturally derived ingredients!

It is alcohol-free, aluminum salt-free, and bicarbonate-free. Its composition has been designed for all skin types, even the most sensitive:

Yes! All our 48-hour Deodorants are perfectly suited for Sensitive Skin. Designed for all skin types, including sensitive skin prone to irritation, allergies, and eczema, our deodorants have undergone strict dermatological testing. Conducted by an accredited company, these tests on individuals with a history of allergies or atopic conditions revealed no allergic reactions or irritation, thus confirming excellent skin tolerance and classifying them as non-irritating. Therefore, you can use them without any issues. 🤍

We recommend using within 6 months after opening.

A transition phase is necessary when you adopt a new deodorant (especially a natural one); this can last from 2 to 3 weeks. This is the time needed for your body to regulate itself and adapt to the new product.

Our deodorants do not contain essential oils.

Our efficacy tests were carried out by an approved company. Here are all the steps:

Step 1: tester preparation

The testers prepared their bodies for our test by refraining from using other deodorants or antiperspirants for 14 days before the pre-treatment phase. They received a mild hygiene product to wash with during this period.

Step 2: pre-treatment phase - we check that our testers have enough odor!

24 hours after the last shower, 3 sniffers (yes, sniffers!) evaluated the body odor of the testers to ensure it was pronounced enough to make the test relevant. The evaluation was rated from 1 to 5 (1 being an undetectable odor and 5 being a very strong odor). Only testers who scored at least 2 ("perceptible odor") were allowed to proceed to the third step.

Step 3: trial phase: it's time to test our favorite deodorants!

We are finally at the trial phase: testers will now apply our deodorant to only one armpit (chosen randomly, right or left depending on the testers) with a standard amount of product. After one week of use, on day 6, there is a final shower followed by the subject's last product application. On day 7, subjects return to the laboratory to share their feedback.

For the 48-hour efficacy claim: 48 hours after the last product application (day 8), subjects returned to the laboratory and underwent a new olfactory evaluation by sniffers according to the odor scale.

• 100% found the deodorant effective for 48 hours.

• 100% found that the deodorant effectively absorbs odors and moisture.

UVB rays are the "visible" rays from the sun that cause sunburn and skin cancer: they are very dangerous between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. UVA rays are present regardless of the time of day, weather, or season: they are responsible for skin aging and pigment spots.

SPF refers to UVB protection: an SPF 30 lets through about 3% of UVB, while an SPF 50 lets through 2%, a significant difference of 50%! With a protection factor greater than 50, you are also much better protected against UVA: in Europe, when the UVA logo is circled, it means that UVA protection is at least one-third of UVB protection – i.e., 20 for an SPF 50+.

• An organic UV filter refers to a synthetically created filter, as opposed to an inorganic, "mineral" filter, which is of natural origin. Organic filters absorb UVA and UVB rays, while mineral filters primarily reflect UVB and only slightly UVA. We have chosen to use non-controversial organic filters, recognized for their effectiveness, their harmlessness to marine biodiversity, and their completely invisible finish. For us, this is the best compromise available today.
  
  
• Some chemical filters are old, dating back to the 70s. These can cause skin reactions. However, the market has evolved significantly since then, and we now refer to "next-generation filters" for those released in the last 10 years: highly effective and traceless. We have taken care to select the best on the market.

Better skin tolerance

A culture method makes it possible to reproduce a model organism (non-living, the animal is not harmed). Cultures of the model organism are incubated for 7 days with different sunscreens to calculate the cell viability rate with sunscreens. The coral cell viability remained almost intact with our cream (98%) vs. the other two which dropped to 65%... (with mineral filters).

Our sunscreens are made of sun filters that are essential to protect the skin from the harmful effects of the sun and prevent the risks of skin cancer such as melanoma, as well as sunburn, premature skin aging, and the appearance of spots. By using appropriate sun protection, you can reduce the risks caused by exposure to the sun's UV rays. Choosing your sunscreen should be taken seriously! :)

Following strict ecotoxicity tests performed on a coral species found in the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and English Channel (Anemonia Viridis), our UV filter complex showed a lower impact on coral cell viability compared to other creams tested simultaneously (SPF50+ sunscreens based on inorganic filters: titanium dioxide and zinc oxide).

Our sun stick has been specifically tested and is perfectly suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Regarding our sun creams, although they do not contain any ingredients contraindicated during pregnancy, they have not been specifically tested on pregnant women. As a precaution, we always advise consulting a healthcare professional if you have any doubts.

Our sunscreen stick has been specially tested and formulated to suit the whole family: it is suitable for babies from 6 months, children, and adults.

As for our sun creams, they are suitable for children from 3 years old. Before this age, we advise you to consult your pediatrician, as our creams have not yet undergone pediatric testing.

Nevertheless, it is imperative to keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight and to always cover their fragile skin as much as possible.

The Sun Stick can be applied to the face and sensitive areas (scars, tattoos, moles).

The Sun Cream can be applied to both the face and body: its ultra-fluid texture with a non-greasy and non-sticky finish is similar to that of a moisturiser, thanks to the aloe vera, provitamin B5 and probiotics it contains. In summer, it can even replace the day cream for combination to oily skin!

It is best to wait 15 minutes before exposure to allow the sunscreen or sun stick to set and penetrate the epidermis. This is called the "de-emulsification" process: the sunscreen creates a protective film on the surface of the skin. Water and sweat resistance will also be optimized.

Our sunscreen can be used for up to 12 months after opening. After one year, UV protection significantly decreases as the formula degrades. As for our sun stick, it remains effective for 6 months after opening.

Rest assured, our sunscreens leave no white cast: our formula contains only organic, completely transparent UV filters, unlike inorganic (or "mineral") filters which, unless tinted, inevitably leave a more or less white film on the skin's surface. Thus, all skin tones are protected without an unsightly white effect!

Push up the bottom of the tube and apply the stick to your face or sensitive areas (scars, tattoos, moles). The sun stick melts on contact with skin warmth. Simple and practical to use!

Apply generously before sun exposure. Reapply frequently, especially after swimming. Overexposure to the sun is dangerous for your health. Avoid sun exposure during peak sunshine hours. Do not expose babies and young children to the sun. Avoid the eye contour area. In case of direct contact with eyes, rinse immediately. Store at room temperature.
