A few months ago, we learned that Julie fell in love with our Unscented balm: our 100% natural balm, fragrance-free and allergen-free, suitable for all skin types.

Who is Julie?

Julie Bourges, aka @douzefevrier, was destined for a career as a professional gymnast when her carnival costume caught fire. She was 16 at the time and 40% of her body was burned to the 3rd degree. After months in a coma and hospitalization, she fought physically and mentally to relearn how to live. The road was long and full of pitfalls, but Julie's courage, will, and strength prevailed!

A few years later, she decided to start on Instagram and quickly became a symbol of resilience and positivity.

Due to the burns, her skin is extremely dry and needs deep nourishment, so she was won over by our 100% natural, eco-responsible, and made-in-France multi-purpose balm. The nourishing balm is an essential part of her beauty routine thanks to its many uses: body care, face care, lip care, hand care, makeup remover... The balm is also effective against eczema, a topic at the heart of an article that you love on our site.  

Julie inspires us daily: she is positive, radiant, natural, and authentic. She perfectly embodies the values dear to our brand Les Petits Prödiges, and we immediately wanted to work with her and create HER balm.

Julie grew up under the Provence sun, where thousands of orange blossom flowers are picked each year. This scent is therefore very special to her. Our perfumer then created a 100% natural, delicate, and floral orange blossom scent, which transports us to the sun. An olfactory journey, in a way. And the work continued until the magic happened and we all fell under the spell of this delicious scent!

Today Julie uses the balm for her hair, lips, and delicate skin. She even made a lovely video about it:

This balm is a concentrate of prodigious active ingredients. Among them are:

-royal jelly: fights skin aging, strengthens nails and hair, soothes dry and sensitive skin.

-honey: moisturizes, nourishes, soothes and promotes cell renewal.

-sweet almond oil: nourishes & protects skin and hair, soothes and acts as a natural anti-aging agent.

-olive oil: contains omega 6 and 9 which improve skin elasticity, protect and hydrate it.
